I don’t know about y’all, but this has been a hectic winter.

It may be because of how winter usually makes me want to retreat indoors and slow down. However, I’ve been on the run this entire winter. It’s been a good thing…until my body literally became sick and made me sit still for a few days.

But, before the mellow days came, I was drawn to mellow music because…balance. A lot of it has been R&B, soul, and jazz, but some hip-hop made it in there. Love, insecurities, doubt, and pride floated around a lot while listening to music these past few months. These elements manifested into Transcending Sound’s Winter 2019 playlist.
