Transcending Sound is a music website, launched in 2015 by amirahrashidah, that was created for Black and urban music creatives as well as hip-hop, R&B, and jazz enthusiasts. Our content has included commentary about current events in music and how it relates to the world around us, legal issues in the industry, conversations with artists, and playlists that include music from Black and/or urban music creatives.
In 2023, we have become more focused in music curation via our candle line, which is available in our shop. We have also began to collaborate with brands and other businesses to curate their events and spaces.
