#PressPlay: Transcending Sound’s Summer 2020 Playlist
Wait, it’s the end of the summer already? That’s crazy!
Even though we’re still in the midst of a pandemic, time has started to really move. We’re at 6 months of the craziness of COVID-19 and the world is becoming more unrecognizable. Much of our perceived normal before the pandemic is no longer normal.
And, despite of the pandemic, we’re slowly adapting, choosing to live and make the best of the moments. I want to personally say that I’m happy for and proud of you for making it this far. Guard your health, beloveds. That includes your mental health.
Hopefully, this very late playlist gets you to vibe out a little bit, even dance a bit. Other than being dedicated to living life, this playlist is dedicated to the Black music creative scene in Baltimore. This playlist includes songs from the past and present from Baltimore, from the club music we know and love (Blaqstarr) to newer artists in the scene (TT the Artist, Score|Swayze ft. Kay L.A. and tek.lun). The scene is so talented, diverse, and is showing so much promise. There’s so many of you to name, but I see y’all and am rooting for y’all.
