I don’t know about y’all, but hip-hop hasn’t been my wave these past few months. The down-tempo, heavy bass, R&B joints have had me in a chokehold. If you know me and have paid any attention to the 20-plus playlists that Transcending Sound has released, you may have caught on to that. That’s generally the vibe over here at TS.
That’s the energy of the fall months anyway: there’s hustle and bustle going on, but you still have a tendency to slow things down.
I tried to sprinkle some upbeat tracks in Transcending Sound’s Fall 2021 playlist, but the energy is truly rare. Be prepared to take a night drive or chill out with this predominantly love song filled playlist. You may get “caught up in your feelings” with it too. Word to Sevyn Streeter and Lucky Daye.
